WEBINARS at ISSTD

The International Society for the Study of Trauma and Dissocation (ISSTD) has launched an exciting new Webinar program, featuring online educational sessions conducted by experts in the field of trauma and dissociation, as well as other relevant fields of interest.

The inaugural webinar series will begin June 25th, featuring Richard Kluft, MD, who will offer a four part series entitled Selected Topics in Work with Dissociative Identity Disorder.

How does a "webinar" work?
About 15 minutes prior to start time, log onto the provided web site to view the presentation online. You may simultaneously call in to hear the presenter or simply listen to the audio through your computer speakers, without calling in.

During the webinar you may contribute via chat email to the discussion and participate in polls and Q&A. A moderator will receive the questions and forward them to speaker at the appropriate time during the discussion.

The ISST-D's Standard Online Course in Psychotherapy for Dissociative Disorders is offered to professionals. Registration begins in August. The course begins in late September. To date, over 1000 students have graduated from ISSTD courses, including the Advanced Online Course which will next be offered in February 2008, and the Child/Adolescent Psychotherapy Program soon available online.
